Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Motorola One Macro (XT2016 / 2019). It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, especially for video calls. If your selfie is blurry, dark, frozen or no longer appears, the module is often the cause, and replacing it can fix this type of fault.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery where the model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching components unnecessarily. Use suitable tools so you do not scratch the glass or damage the ribbon cables.
Once the part is fitted, check that it works before closing the device completely: test the front camera in the camera app, video calls and focus. If the original part was damaged, do not reuse weakened components. Remember that a lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or used if it is swollen.
