Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (2017). It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, as well as for face recognition when that depends on this module. It suits cases where the image is blurry, dark or frozen, or where the front camera no longer appears in apps at all.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the screen or damage the delicate ribbon cables. Do not bend the connectors and never force a clip.
After fitting, check focus, brightness and colours in the camera app, then test face recognition and video calls. If the image remains abnormal, reopen the assembly to check that the cable is properly seated and that the sealing gasket is correctly positioned.
