This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Huawei Mate 20 Lite (2018). It is used for taking your photos and video calls on the screen side. When the front camera no longer switches on, stays blurred or shows a black image, this part can restore the function.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. It does not match the current part: please check the model carefully before ordering. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if possible and work on a clean surface. Avoid any impact, do not bend the ribbon cables and protect yourself from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap or by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode, take a few shots and run a video call test. If the worn battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it.
