Description
The front camera is the module located on the screen side. It is used for photos and videos in selfie mode, as well as for video calls. This part is a compatible front camera, designed for the Mate 9 Pro (2016) model. It allows you to replace a faulty module.
It fixes the most common faults: blurred or black image from the camera, a camera app that won't start, or a camera not detected by the phone. Before you begin, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and warm gently if you need to lift an adhesive strip. Never force a connector.
After fitting, check the photo and video before fully closing the casing. Also test a video call. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
