Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, on the front side. It is used for video calls, selfies and face recognition when the device supports it. If the current part is blurred, black, frozen or no longer activates, this replacement can restore these functions.
This front camera is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed for the Mega (2013). It fits in place of the worn front camera. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. A swollen or damaged battery must never be used: do not puncture it or bend it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front camera in the camera app and during a video call. Check that focus and brightness are correct. Make sure the ribbon cables are free before closing, and avoid excessive heat during the repair.
