This front camera is a compatible part designed for the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G. It replaces the front-facing camera module, the one used for selfies and video calls. If the image is blurry, black or distorted, or if the camera app no longer detects the front camera, this component is often the cause. It can also be affected after a fall or moisture ingress.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if you have one, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the chassis. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, as it tears easily. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the casing completely: take a few photos and test video calls. Also make sure the seals and neighbouring ribbon cables are properly in place.
