Description
The front camera is the photo module located on the front of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part compatible with the Mi 11 Pro lets you replace a faulty module, for example if the image is blurry, dark, frozen or missing during a video call.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the screen or the ribbon cables. Handle the part by its edges to avoid static electricity discharges.
After fitting, check that the camera works before reassembling the device completely: test photos and videos, focus and the display on screen. If the current part was damaged by a drop or an impact, also check the condition of the screen and connectors.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
- Handle the camera by its edges to limit static electricity
- Test photos, videos and focus before closing the device
