Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your image for selfies and video calls. On the Mi 9, it is usually located at the top of the screen. When it stops working, the image is black, blurred or missing from the camera app.
This compatible front camera is designed to replace the faulty module on the Mi 9. It is made by a third party and fits the model indicated. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, then disconnect the battery if your technical confidence allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and handle the fine connector carefully so you do not bend it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front camera in the camera app, in video and during a call. Also check that the screen and the proximity sensor work correctly. If the battery is swollen or deformed, do not try to repair it: stop the operation and do not use it any further.
