Description
The front camera is the small module that lets you take selfies and make video calls. It is usually located at the top of the screen, on the front of the device. This compatible part for the Mi 9T replaces a faulty module, for example when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity, and use tools suited to the job so you do not damage the ribbon cable. Avoid excessive heat during disassembly and never bend the connectors.
After fitting, check the focus, brightness and operation in the camera app and during a video call. Also check that the screen responds correctly around the area of the module. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it before switching the phone back on.
