Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, as well as for video calls. When it is faulty, you will often notice a blurred, black or missing image in the camera app, autofocus that no longer works, or a camera that will not start at all.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Note the exact position of the screws and connectors to make reassembly easier. Handle the ribbon cable with care, without bending it or pulling on the cable.
Once the module is installed and the device is reassembled, switch it on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check sharpness, brightness and the autofocus function if your app supports it. If you notice a swollen battery, do not use the device and handle the battery with caution.
