Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of your Moto E (XT2052 / 2020), the one used for selfies and video calls. It is a part made by a manufacturer other than the maker of the phone, designed to fit this model.
If the front camera no longer switches on, shows a black or blurred image, or if your front photos are distorted or unusable, this part may solve the problem. Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean table, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the contacts unnecessarily. Disassemble the phone with suitable tools, without forcing the clips.
Once the new camera is installed, reconnect the battery, switch the phone back on and test the front camera in the camera app as well as during a video call. Also check the focus and brightness. If you have any doubt about a ribbon cable or a connection, redo the fitting before closing everything up completely.
