Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your Moto E4 (XT1763 / 2017). It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferences made from the home screen. If the front camera no longer switches on, shows a blurred or black image, or fails to start in apps, this module may be the cause.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the repair allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if you have one, and use a small, flat, non-metallic tool to release the connectors without forcing them. The ribbon cables are fragile: do not fold them and avoid pulling them by the cable.
Once the module is fitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the case. Check the image in the camera app and make a test video call. A compatible part may show slight differences in appearance or image rendering compared with the current part, which is normal for this type of third-party manufacturing.
