Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Moto E5 Plus (XT1924, 2018 model). It is used for taking photos and videos facing the screen, as well as for video calls. If the front camera is black, blurry, frozen or no longer activates, this replacement may solve the problem.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and an anti-static wrist strap or a metal contact to discharge static electricity. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, do not try to reuse it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check the focus, brightness and video call function. If the image is distorted, remove the ribbon cable, check that it is properly connected and repeat the test.
