Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for video calls and selfies. This compatible part is designed for the Motorola Moto E6, reference XT2005 (2019). It lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or is no longer detected by the phone.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the screen or damage the delicate ribbon cables. Handle the new part by its edges to avoid static electricity discharges.
Once the installation is finished, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the device: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and check sharpness, brightness and video call function. If the image still looks abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is properly connected.
