Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your Moto G4 Plus (XT1644, released in 2016). It handles selfie photos and video calls. If your selfie is blurry, dark or no longer displays, the current part is probably the cause.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your technical level allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a tray to store the small screws. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the ribbon cable. Never force the fragile connectors.
Once the module is refitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check the focus, brightness and display in the camera app. If the image remains abnormal, redo the assembly to check that the ribbon cable is properly connected.
