Description
The front camera is the small camera module placed at the top of the screen, next to the proximity sensor. It is used for video calls, selfies and authentication in certain apps. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or absent, and the device may no longer detect the camera at all.
This part is a version compatible with the Note (2014), made by a third party. It does not carry the brand of the current part. Before you start, switch the tablet off completely, disconnect the battery cable if your model allows it, and work on a clean, static-free surface. Use a small flat tool to separate the clips without forcing them.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, restart the device and open the camera app to check the image from the front and rear cameras. Handle the ribbon cable gently and make sure the module is correctly positioned before closing the device.
