Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Note 70T, replaces the module if it no longer works: blurry, black or distorted image, or a camera that no longer opens in apps.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, ideally with an anti-static mat, as static electricity can damage electronic components. Use a plastic tool to lift the screen and avoid forcing the delicate ribbon cables. Be careful with the lithium battery: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery.
Once the camera is refitted, check its operation before closing the phone completely: open the camera app and the video conferencing app, and test focus and brightness. If everything is correct, close the device, taking care to properly reconnect all ribbon cables. We recommend running a few tests over several days before considering the repair finished.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work with an anti-static mat to protect the components
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Do not use a swollen battery, replace it immediately
- Test the camera before closing the device
