Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front photo module of a One A9. It is the small sensor used for selfies and video calls. When it is faulty, the image may be blurry, black or missing, and the front camera no longer starts.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable small screwdriver and, if possible, an anti-static wrist strap to protect the components. Handle the ribbon cable with care, without bending it or forcing the connectors.
Once the camera is refitted, check its operation in the camera app before closing the casing completely. Check the image in photo and video mode, as well as the correct operation of the flash and settings. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it properly before switching the device back on.
