Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front photo module of the One E8, the one used for selfies and video calls. It fits in the place of the current part, which it replaces entirely. It helps fix the most common faults: blurred or black image, distorted selfies, camera missing from the photo app or impossible to activate during a video call.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the gold contacts. Use non-metallic tools to open the casing and disconnect the ribbon cable before handling the camera. Do not bend the cables and never force the connectors.
After fitting, power the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the device. Check the image in the photo app, in selfie mode and in video, then start a test call. If the image remains abnormal, redo the fitting and check that the ribbon cable is properly connected.

- Protect the part from static electricity by touching a metal surface first
- Do not bend the ribbon cable and do not force the connector
- Test the camera in photo, video and during a call before closing the device
