Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the One E9 Plus, lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer focuses properly.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without folding it, and check that the connector is firmly clicked in before closing.
After reassembly, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app, take a few photos and start a video call. If the image remains abnormal, reconnect the ribbon cable and check its position. A swollen or damaged battery must never be used.
