Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the One M10 model. It lets you replace the current part when the image is blurry, black, frozen or missing, or when the camera no longer opens in apps.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the model's manual allows it. Work on a clean surface and use a suction cup and plastic tools to open the screen without forcing it. Avoid any contact with the ribbon cables and protect yourself from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the part.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the housing. Check the focus, brightness and operation in several apps, then check the seal if your model has one. If the battery was disconnected, charge it gradually and do not use it if it is swollen.
