Description
This front camera is a compatible part designed for the One M9 Plus. It is used to replace the front photo module when it no longer works properly: black screen during video calls, blurred, distorted or missing image in selfie apps. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Take care of the ribbon cables and fine connectors, which tear easily.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the device completely. Test the front camera in several apps, for both photo and video, and check sharpness and exposure. Also make sure the proximity sensor and the screen respond normally. If the image remains abnormal, open the device again to check that the ribbon cable is properly seated and the connector is correctly locked.
A compatible part may show slight differences in colour tone or sharpness compared with the original part. Compare the result with your expectations and keep the packaging until your repair is fully validated. Always handle electronic components with care.
