Description
The front camera is the module that captures the images for your selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the OnePlus 12, replaces the current module when it is damaged, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer triggers.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable holder for the small screws. Avoid any contact with electronic components: a static discharge can damage the camera. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
Once the module is fitted, switch the phone back on and test the camera in the photo app, in selfie mode and then during a video call. Check the sharpness, the focus and the absence of background noise. If the image remains abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in before drawing any conclusion.
