Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the front of your phone, near the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition to unlock the device. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, distorted or missing altogether, and face unlock may stop responding.
This part, compatible with the OnePlus 13, replaces the current camera without changing the rest of the device. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the gold contacts. Take the time to identify the ribbon cables and screws correctly.
After reassembly, switch the device on and check the image in the Camera app, testing both sides if necessary. Also check sharpness, brightness and face unlock. Never force the connectors and do not bend the ribbon cables.
