Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the OnePlus 15. It is used for taking front-facing photos and videos, as well as for face recognition and video calls. If your selfie is blurry, dark, frozen or missing from the screen, the module may be the cause, especially after a fall or water ingress.
Before starting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to protect the electronic components. A plastic opening tool and a small suitable screwdriver are enough to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cables with care, as they tear easily.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and switch the device on. Test the front camera and face recognition, as well as the screen flash if your model has one. Also check that the sealing gasket is properly in place. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
