Description
The front camera is the module that captures your selfies and video calls. It sits at the top of the screen, next to the proximity sensor. This compatible part for the OnePlus 6T lets you replace a damaged module, for example blurry images, abnormal colours, or a camera that no longer appears in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface at room temperature, and use suitable tools along with an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Disconnect the ribbon cables carefully, without forcing them, and handle the new module by its edges to avoid marking or scratching it.
Once the assembly is finished, switch the device back on and open the camera app to check sharpness, focus and the operation of the other sensors. Also test video calls. If a fault appears, switch the phone off and recheck the connectors before drawing any conclusion.
