Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, at moderate temperature, and avoid static electricity. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the device if the battery is swollen. After fitting, check the front camera in the camera app and during a test video call.
