The front camera is the module that captures your image for selfies and video calls. It sits at the top of the screen, in the front area of the phone. This compatible OnePlus 8 Pro part lets you replace the module when the image is blurry, black, frozen or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your technical confidence allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Once fitting is done, check the camera works before closing the device fully: test both modes, the focus and the brightness.
If the current part is damaged, handle the ribbon cables with care and avoid forcing the connectors. Do not bend the cables or apply excessive pressure to the module. Take your time and keep the screws organised to make reassembly easier.
