Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of your OnePlus 8 Pro. It is used for selfies, video calls and unlocking with facial recognition when this is enabled. If your image is blurred, dark or frozen, or if the camera no longer appears in apps, this module may be the cause. This original manufacturer part, also known as an official Service Pack part, is designed to replace the faulty module.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, as static electricity can damage electronic components. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending or pulling them, and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check the sharpness, brightness and the operation of facial recognition. If a swollen or damaged battery is visible, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
