Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and face unlock. This part is compatible with the OnePlus 8T and lets you replace the current module when it no longer works properly.
It solves the most common faults: blurred or black image, abnormal colours, the front camera app won't open, or the camera is detected but unusable. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, flat surface, avoiding static electricity. Remove the screen carefully and disconnect the ribbon cables before any handling.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the housing completely. Check sharpness, brightness and that face recognition works. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not reuse it and handle it with care.
