Description
The front camera is the module that lets you take selfies and make video calls. This compatible part is designed for the OnePlus 9 Pro. It replaces the current part when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app or in video conferencing apps.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if the disassembly guide indicates it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if you have one, and avoid touching the gold contacts of the connector. Use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it, and keep the screws in a small tray so you do not lose them.
After fitting, check the camera in the camera app, then test a video and a video call. Switch the device back on only once the cover is properly closed. If the image remains faulty, check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in before concluding that the part is at fault.
