Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part is compatible with the OnePlus Nord and lets you replace a faulty module when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge on the components. Keep the screws in a small container so they do not get lost.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check the focus, the brightness and that the screen around the sensor works properly. If the old part was damaged, also inspect the connection ribbon for any sign of impact.
