Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of a OnePlus Nord N100. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, especially for video calls. If your selfie is blurry, black, frozen or missing, this module may be the cause, particularly after a drop or water ingress.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery where the procedure allows. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge by earthing yourself on an earthed metal part. Remove the current part carefully, without forcing the ribbon cables, then fit the compatible camera, making sure the connector is properly positioned.
After fitting, check that the image displays correctly in the camera app and during a video call. Also check brightness and focus. If the part has been replaced, be sure to close the phone properly to protect the seal and keep out dust.
