Description
The front camera is the module that captures the image for selfies and video calls. It is usually located at the top of the screen, near the notch or the sensor hole. This camera, compatible with the OPPO Reno7 4G, is a third-party manufacture, designed to replace a faulty front camera.
It helps resolve the most common faults: black camera screen, blurred or frozen image, error message when opening the front camera, or inability to use video conferencing apps. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the cover and work on a clean, flat surface. Use an anti-static wristband or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera with the photo app and a video app. Check sharpness, focus and the absence of background noise. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise operation. Never use a swollen battery and never puncture or bend any lithium component.
