Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. When it stops working, the image is black, blurry or missing during video calls. This compatible front camera is designed to replace the current front camera of the Huawei P Smart (2019). It is a third-party part, offered as an economical solution to repair your phone.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your DIY skill level allows. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Be careful with ribbon cables, which detach easily, and never force the connectors.
After reassembly, switch the device on and open the camera app to check sharpness, brightness and correct video operation. Make sure the proximity sensor and the screen respond properly. If the battery was disconnected, charge the phone gradually.
