Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your P Smart (2021) when the front photo is blurry, black or no longer activates. It is fitted in the place of the current part and handles image capture for video calls, selfies and face recognition unlocking, depending on your phone's features.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a suction cup or a plastic tool to open the phone without forcing it. Carefully disconnect the camera ribbon cable, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the part by its edges.
Once the module is fitted, put the screws and connectors back in place, then switch the phone on to test the camera before closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and that face recognition works properly. If a swollen battery appears during the repair, stop using it.
