Description
The front camera is the small module that captures photos and videos in selfie mode, as well as video calls. This compatible part replaces the front camera of the Huawei P30 (2019) when it no longer works: blurred, black or distorted image, or missing in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid any contact with electronic components. Use suitable tools and do not force the fragile connectors. Ribbon cables should be released gently by lifting the connector's locking flap.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera in the photo app, in selfie mode and video, then during a video call. Also check focus, brightness and face detection. If in doubt, close the phone carefully again and check the seal.

- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work.
- Avoid static electricity: work on an anti-static surface.
- Never bend or puncture the lithium battery.
- Test the camera in photo, video and during a call before closing the phone.
- A swollen battery must no longer be used.
