Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Huawei P30 Lite (2019). It enables front-facing photos and video calls. It is useful when the image is blurred, black, distorted or missing when using the front camera.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools. Avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. The ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect them gently, without bending or forcing them.
After reassembly, check the focus, brightness and operation of the camera in a photo app and during a video call. If the image remains abnormal or a component seems misplaced, redo the fitting before using the phone day to day.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Handle the ribbon cables with care, without bending or forcing them
- Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface
- Test the camera before closing the phone again
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
