Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small module at the top of the screen used for taking selfies and making video calls. This part, compatible with the Huawei P40 Lite (2020), replaces a faulty or damaged front camera, for example when the image is blurred, black or missing.
This is a third-party manufacture, offered as a compatible alternative to the current part. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean, clear surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface, and handle the module by its edges without touching the lens.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that the front camera works in the camera app and during a video call. Also check the sharpness of the image and the absence of any stripe or spot on the picture. If the original part was broken, also make sure the current screen was not cracked during removal.
