Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of the Huawei P40 Pro (2020). It is used for taking selfies, video calls and facial recognition when the current part no longer works properly. Common faults it can fix include a blurred or black image on the front, a camera that no longer opens in apps, or video calls without picture.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to reduce the risks linked to static electricity. Never force the ribbon cables and avoid excessive heat during disassembly.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the device completely: test photo capture, video calls and focus. If the battery of your device has been handled, carry out a few full charge cycles to make sure it performs well.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables
- Work on a clean, anti-static surface
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the camera before closing the phone
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
