Description
The front camera is the small module at the top of the screen, used for taking selfies and making video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty module of the P7 (2014). It helps fix the most common faults of this module: blurry image, black screen on the front camera, camera app that won't start or distorted photos.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge to the components. To open the phone, use plastic tools so you don't scratch the chassis or cut the ribbon cables. Once the part is fitted, check that the phone starts, that the image is sharp and that the microphone works before closing the device completely.
