Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your P9 Plus (2016). It is used for taking photos and videos facing you, for video calls and selfies. When the module is cracked, warped or no longer activates, the image may be blurred, black or absent on the lock screen and in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, with suitable tools and a small tray to keep the screws. Gently warm the screen edges if necessary, without excessive heat, and handle the ribbon cables carefully so they are not bent.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised in the camera app and during a test video call. Also check the focus and image brightness before fully closing the casing.
