Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of your device. It is used for video calls, selfies and face recognition where this is supported. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or missing in apps that use the front camera.
This front camera is a compatible part for the Phoenix 5 model. It is made by a third party and does not come from the device manufacturer. It is offered as an affordable solution to replace the faulty module. Before any disassembly, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, at moderate temperature, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check the focus, brightness and operation in the camera app and in a video conferencing app. Route the ribbon cables carefully without bending them or forcing their connector. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
