Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of your Phoenix Plus screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition when your device supports it. This compatible part lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurred, black or distorted, or when the camera no longer activates.
This version is a compatible part made by a third-party manufacturer, offered as an affordable solution for a repair at home. Before you begin, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if the configuration allows it and work on a clean surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid discharging the electronics. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending them or forcing the connectors.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front and rear cameras in the photo and video apps. Also check face recognition, brightness and focus. If the phone has suffered a drop or pressure on the screen, check the seal and make sure there is no dust under the glass. If the battery is swollen or damaged, stop using it and do not puncture it.
