Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of your phone, the one used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Pixel 3a XL, lets you replace a faulty module when the image is blurry, black, frozen or missing, or when focusing no longer works properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your technical level allows. Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the connectors. Take particular care with the fragile ribbon cables, which tear easily. Handle the battery carefully: do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid any excessive heat.
Once the module is installed, switch the phone back on and check the camera image before closing the device. Test selfie mode, video and focus. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally and carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise everything. If you have any doubt about the condition of the worn battery or the current screen, stop the assembly and check the connections.
