Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of the smartphone, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Pixel 4, lets you replace the module when it no longer works properly, for example when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in camera and video apps.
This is a third-party part, designed to fit the Pixel 4 model. Before fitting it, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if you open the device and work on a clean, flat surface. Use an anti-static tool and avoid touching the connectors unnecessarily, as static electricity can damage components.
Once the part is fitted, check the camera works in a photo app and during a video call before closing the casing completely. Handle the ribbon cables with care and never force the connectors.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use an anti-static tool and avoid touching the connectors
- Do not force the ribbon cables or connectors during fitting
- Test the camera before closing the casing
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
