Description
The front camera is the module that captures your face for selfies, video calls and face unlock. When it is damaged, the image can be blurred, black or missing, and some features may stop working.
This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Google Pixel 4a 5G. It fits in place of the current part, following the disassembly steps for the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, dry surface. Protect your components from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the front camera, the video call and face unlock. If the image is still incorrect, check that the ribbon cable is properly seated and that the screws have been refitted correctly. Carry out a few full charge cycles to make sure the device works well overall.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and work on a clean, dry surface
