Description
The front camera is the module that captures your selfies and video calls. On the Pixel 4a, it sits in the upper part of the screen. This Original part lets you replace a damaged module, for example if the image is blurry, the colours are off, there is a black area, or the camera no longer opens in apps.
This is an Original part from the manufacturer, or an official Service Pack part. Performance and battery life are identical to new. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface, and handle the module by its edges.
Disassembly involves disconnecting the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Do not bend the ribbon cable and never force a connector. After reassembly, power on the phone and test the camera before fully closing the device. Check focus, brightness and video call functionality.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Avoid static electricity: work on a clean, earthed surface
- Do not bend the ribbon cables and never force a connector
