Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the smartphone, used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlocking when the device supports it. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Google Pixel 5 when the current part no longer works properly.
Typically, a faulty front camera shows up as a blurred, black or distorted image, abnormal colours, a complete absence of image in photo or video apps, or an error reported by the system. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if the model's manual indicates it, and work on a clean, flat surface. Use suitable tools and avoid any pressure on the screen.
After fitting, check the focus, the brightness and the absence of dust under the glass. Test the camera before fully closing the casing. If the part shows a defect on arrival, keep the packaging and find out more before proceeding with the fitting.
