Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of the phone, above the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition for unlocking. When it is damaged, the image may be blurry, dark or absent, and the phone may no longer detect your face.
This part is an original front camera, meaning an original manufacturer part or an official Service Pack part. The rendering and performance are identical to those of a new module. It is intended for the Pixel 6 Pro model.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and avoid excessive heat. After installation, check the photo preview, the video call and face unlock.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before working on it
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully so they are not bent
- Work protected from static electricity
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the camera and face unlock after fitting
